June First

It's Saturday morning in the Month of May.
Was waking up to what I thought was a good day.
Until a blast took place in the back of my head.
It was as if a bomb blew up and I thought oh no.
This isn't normal, blurry vision, bomb like headache, feeling sick.
I knew it couldn't be normal.

I grabbed my cell and gave my Ma' a call.
Telling her something's wrong, you need to get back here now.
I fell to my knees in tears knowing this could be it.
I pulled myself up walking to the shower and just stood in it for relief but
there was no such hope.

I was so weak, I wasn't me.
I gave in and tears cam rolling down the sides of my cheeks.
I was in so much pain, my Ma' asked do you want to go see the Doc?
I knew I needed to but I was so weak, couldn't move or walk so all
I did was stumble to the car door with the help of my Ma's hand and me leaning
on her to carry me.

I got to see the Doc, they wanted to give me a shot.
Unable to really speak I mumbled and asked where?
He said it'd be best in the buttocks.
I lifted my head with my eyes wide open with an angry pale face
and stuttered two words, Hell No, can't you give it to me in my arm?
We can it just will take longer, I say that's okay.

They go then come back and say nope it can't be done in the arm has to be done
down there. I again stutter Hell No, give me pills. They did and so I went my way.
Hours passed, no change, no relief, so out of it. My Grandmother asked had I ever felt like this
before? I nodded no, she said I bet your hemorrhaging.
You need to go to the hospital and we did, unable to walk, talk, see, function leaning
on my Ma to carry me. I collapsed, so weak, tears in my eyes and think why, God why me?

They ran many tests, had me doped up on morphine. That was finally some relief from the pain in my head. The worst felt pain was yet to come. The Doc came in looked at me with that face, you know, bad news. I wasn't expecting the words I'd hear next. My heart was racing, pounding, I was scared, nervous, knowing what may come next I needed God, I needed him then more than ever.
The words flew out of his mouth your bleeding in the brain caused by an AVM.
You'll need to have surgery because if not you'll die. We're having you air transferred to Children's Memorial Herman Hospital, my heart was then ripped from my chest!

I busted into tears, horrified my life flashed before my very eyes, seeing the good and bad I'd done,
things I may never get to do in life such as have a family, kids, my dream job, never see my loved ones again friends, family, my beloved pets and even my favorite actresses. My life leaguered between life and death. Riding in the air craft wasn't all that bad because the medics were looking fine, and had me doped up on laughing gas.

Arriving at the hospital they rolled me to the ICU where the most serious cases were. They ran more tests. Four surgeons, many nurses working as one to benefit me, that was pretty sweet. What kept me calm was the fact they were all good looking, and I had the one thing I called my best friend since I was a young child a orange/white tabby stuffed animal named Kitty and holding on to my Ma's hand tightly.

A surgeon came in and explained that there was three different surgical ways they could remove the AVM. The first going through the nasal to the back of the brain, second going through the groin of the thigh or third craniotomy going through the actual head to clip the AVM. I again fell weak and in fear yelled Hell No, I won't let you. Let's say at the time I became a bad patient.

Unable to eat or drink I was numb, pale, scared, hurt, angry. I wasn't so much angry with those that were trying to help me but more because I felt like God had left me, didn't love or care for me. I blamed him for what was happening.

Sunday a day in may just another day of tests, being poked in my hands and arms left many bruises. Was finally able to eat so I sent my mom out to get me some subway because they had to go back to the house to get stuff anyways. My Aunt stayed with me, got some ice cream sandwiches for me and her, we ate and talked. Then the unexpected happened again, I fell weak worse than before grabbing
my head and yelled get a Doc or someone please! Strong tears pored from my eyes like a river, they didn't come at first, my Aunt yelled at them and said no something is wrong come now with fear, and anger in her voice.

I was ice cold which I knew I was an inch away from death, they did a brain scan and being so weak and out of it I heard a nurse say she just might need to have surgery tonight meant it was a second bad bleed. My Ma, Grandmother came back up and my Ma tore into zillions of pieces fearing the worse for my life. She grabbed my hand and I said to her please don't get rid of my cats, I love you Mommy and the last words I said to my Aunt was work things out with Grandma.

They then rolled me back to surgery which wouldn't be my last but the first of many. Pressure of the bleed which wasn't caused by the first but second was causing the blood to drain down my spine which could make me go blind, paralyzed, comatose or die. They drilled holes into the top of my skull, placed tubes in and let the over flowing blood drain out.

Then following two more surgeries both through the groin in my thigh. Being so out of it I dreamed two dreams. The first being me laying in a hospital bed in a soap opera acting out a scene. The next was me trying to find a place to sleep while seeing different kinds of monster like things.  I even saw a familiar soul, she wasn't a person within the flesh but rather an angel. I knew who she was, I saw her. Felt nothing but love, hope, peace all those things. I waved and smiled big, no one would of expected who it was. She was my Aunt Mary who hadn't passed even a year prior. She was watching over me, the funny thing though the night she passed she came to me and touched my head way before all this. She was one of probably many angels who watched over me.

First day of June the sky was blue. Then came that day June First. I laid in preparation for surgery, being out of it but still able to hear. I heard the shaver that which was used to shave the part of my head they'd be cutting into. When it was done I was put on life support, asked them by writing in the palm of my Ma's had to restrain my wrists so I wouldn't pull out the tube. They did, being bed bound I had a catheter, my head was wrapped with white cloth. I was in and out of it for three days post op. Able to still hear, I heard my grandmother ask do you know what today is? It's grandma's birthday. They tried to show me some stuffed animals they had got me and some other stuff. A singing Chihuahua, 2 Bears one a doc & nurse that sing and a Memorial bear that sings Proud to be an American in honor of Memorial weekend because it was around that time all this took place. I didn't care I was to out of it to see it.

They soon came into test my memory by asking me all kinds of questions knowing I'd be able to answer some but not others. I struggled with it at first but got through it. It was a hazy memory after major brain surgery. Days later I was me again but a new better version of me. We were told of a girl that was 10 years that died of the same thing I had, I fell sad. I wanted to so much reach out to her family but knew I couldn't. We were also told of those with AVM's like mine don't know they have it until they are gone which is 99% of people, it can cause seizures which I had been suffering from for many years which was the likely cause by the AVM being the source. I was soon released to go home, they stitched up my inner arm with a needle and thread that will disappear on it's own over time. Came home lucky to have no major side effects from the surgery but with a little bit of memory haze and loss of eye sight in my left eye which was where the AVM was.

There isn't more than to say I'm a living breathing miracle, fighter, survivor. There was this young black boy about my age at the time who went up to my Ma and Grandmother, said I'm going to call my mom she is a pastor, I'll ask her to pray for your daughter. My Ma talked to the boys mother. My Ma stood in shock, and thought he must be an angel and even maybe my guardian angel, who would do that? I then lived to see Seventeen on June Sixteenth also the day I had the stitch's removed from my head.

Soon was home, lived to tell my story and say God is real, Miracle are real. God gave me a second chance. Believe in the almighty one and through him you shall see change, miracles be lined, feel the presents of his holy spirit and sing glory to God's holy name and his son Jesus Christ the king of kings, Father of all his children. I don't weep, I smile and sing, my king is here with me, I close my eyes and say goodnight.

God's Not Dead

Today I went with some family to see one of my new favorite Christian Films called "God's NOT' Dead", which is based on a freshman college student taking a philosophy course and his professor is what we call an Atheist to whom is one that is a non-believer in God's existence and to whom created the world. The student vs. professor in a debate to prove the Existence and Non-Existence of God in a 3 week course. Now as we know today most Philosopher's, Scientist's, Poet's, Author's and even some Surgeon's don't believe in the existence of God. Most people that are atheist's now were once Christians but you may ask why did they change, why did they walk away? Well truly it's because in most cases something tragic happen to them in their lives. So it's simply easy to say God doesn't exist but how can one be an atheist and hate a such God when they them selves don't believe in him? It's like this we can't prove or not prove God exist, it's more of having a choice, looking at the world and ask yourself who did create the world? who created me? It's a matter of believing in something much greater and grander than the eyes can see, the ears can hear, the voice to speak. Something that we all want to seek but truly we have it already, God says love me as I have always loved you. God simply let's us have the choice to believe in him or not to believe in him. Yes great tragic events happen that shouldn't and people upon people daily ask God why did you let this happen? God simply again let's us have choices, and yes we sin we all do. One man isn't  better than the other, we are all simply equal by sin, flesh, life, choices. Those that do believe give everything to God, and those that don't just simply won't know him. Those that walk with God will live with God in his Kingdom and those that don't will simply be casted out and thrown down to Hell. God doesn't push anyone away, he wants everyone to come to him than run from him. God wants you as he wants me.

There is the Bible for a purpose that is the key to unlocking the truth of something much greater than what we see. The Bible was written by Jesus's people those that followed him when he was here on earth, they saw the true miracle that only God can do, but anyone can do just as he did with having faith and believing. for example Jesus called Peter and said Come, Peter got out of the boat and walked on water but for a second he doubted and he fell into the water and Jesus asked why do you have such little faith? so that simply tells you anything is possible with God as long as you believe, and have faith in God. A lot people that read the bible just simply read it as if it was like any other book and that's why a lot of people including myself don't really know the Bible that well, but for those that truly want to know God they don't just read the Bible once or twice they study it over and over again. Those that do that know the Bible every verse, location of that verse and the meaning of it as well. That is amazing and I hope I can be like that as well. So I don't say that we can prove or not prove God is real but it's more of just putting your faith, love, heart, and beliefs in to something that we can't see. I am proud to say I am a Christian and yes I fail, I sin but yet God still loves me as he also forgives me for those that I have done wrong, sins.

For most some sins are hard to repent from which means to turn away from doing that same action which is sins, we sin no matter what we do, say or live by. Sins are small, medium and big they all come in all sizes but I say this not one sin is greater or worse than the next. They are equal, and that even includes murder, rape, theft, and the miner ones lying, porn, cheating, cursing, not honoring your parents, and simply obeying the commandments God set in place before us to follow. Not one single man can follow every commandment with out sinning, only Jesus could do that.

That's the best part though we sin and sin over and over and yet there is every ounce of forgiveness from God if you believe, have faith and admit your sins, fails, faults and repent from them and he Jesus who died for everyone of our sins can save you for he died for you and I our sins so we can be forgiven to live in his Kingdom with him. Yes we may act on the same sins and we may keep asking for forgiveness for that sin over and over again but God still forgives you, he loves you and wants you.

So this film is a film that those that don't believe in God can go see and even those that do believe can go see it. It's a film to let everyone know you have choices, you can believe, you can know God.

Believe or not believe that is your choice because God gave you the possibility to choose. God said the only way to enter in to my Father Kingdom is through me, referring to believing in Jesus Christ the Son and that you can if you do.

God loves you "God's NOT Dead"

Day Two, Watched The Bible Series

This evening My mom and I watch The Bible mini series on DVD, the stories we watch that is based from the Bible. Daniel who was thrown into the dungeon to be fed to the lions. Daniel although survived the lions because of his faith in God. God protected Daniel from being eaten by the lions and that just proves if you have strong faith in God he will protect you from any kind of danger that your faced with in life. Having faith in God is believing in God and that all things are possible.

Another story we watched from the Bible series is based on the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ born of a virgin mother named Mary who was set to marry a man named Joseph. This story from the Bible series has now been put up onto the big screen into a film called "Son Of God" which we also saw in theaters two weeks ago. The story takes us through the entire life of Jesus from the time he was born to the time he rose again. It shows us the time line of what Jesus went through down here on earth with who he decided to call his disciple's starting with Simon Peter & his brother Andrew the fisherman, Bartholomew, James the elder brother of John the Apostle, James the lesser brother of Jude the Apostle, Judas to whom was the one that betrayed Jesus to the Romans, Matthew the tax collector, Philip, Simon, Thomas, and even some say Mary Magdalene was a follower of Jesus through his time on earth but she being considered one of the disciples is a debate of today, but we do know she was one of the few to kneel at the feet of Jesus Christ at the time of his death on the Cross. It shows us the teachings of Jesus, the miracles he performed on those that were sick, paralyzed, blind, and diseased, he traveled far and near preaching the teachings of his Father God and to whom ever believes in me shall reign in my father kingdom with me for I am the only way to enter into my fathers kingdom. It shows us how Jesus was treated by those that didn't believe in him such as the Romans, they smut on him, beat him, mocked him and his father, made a crown of thorns and placed it on his head, made him carry his own cross and nailed him to it as well as making a sign saying        " King of the Jews"or something close to that. Jesus said on the cross "Father forgive them for they not know what they do", "Father why do you forsaken me". Jesus laid in a tomb for 3 days  and rose on that third day, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb where Jesus laid and she saw that the rock that closed the tomb had been moved, then Jesus said Mary why do you have such little faith? then Mary at time realized it was Jesus. He said go tell the others and she did. They didn't believe her so Mary said come with me to the tomb and I'll show you. Peter went with Mary and he saw for himself the news was true, then he himself saw Jesus has rose. So for the next 40 days Jesus continued his teachings and on the fortieth day he rose into the clouds and he said to his disciples go out and tell others about me make for yourself disciples so they can also know of me, and they did and here today there are over one million Christ followers world wide and even some that are coming to him right now. Jesus said any who that comes to me shall enter into my Father's Kingdom. This just shows that God is real and that Jesus Christ is the Messiah the one sent down to save his people and free us of all our sins so that we can reign with him in Heaven forever.

Believe in Jesus Christ

The Bible talks about "Anger", rid of your anger to be more like Jesus if not Evil has won you over.

Yesterday I got angry so I decided to look in the Bible and see where it talks about the concept of "ANGER", because everyone feels anger. Anger can be a substitute to many emotions that relate to the term Anger. A few of those emotions that are related to Anger- annoyed, irritated, hate, avoidance, and many more and some ways people act on their anger is lashing out at others, fighting, arguing, hitting something, and just expressing that emotion on their face and how they present their body language.

People react differently when their angry, some people are so angry they break down into tears, they want to fight someone, hit someone or something, do something really stupid, yelling, throwing things across the room, arguing and even doing something as serious as shooting someone doing outrageous things. Those are some ways people act on their anger. How can we focus our anger on something positive? How can we release that anger with out hurting someone or something of value?

I'll walk you through ways you can release your anger in a safe positive way with out harming yourself or others because even these techniques have worked for me and then I'll explain what the Bible says about anger.

Things you can do to release anger safely-
1. Go into a quite room by yourself and do something you enjoy that will help you focus on that and it calms you, it can be listening to music, drawing, playing the guitar, playing a computer game or a game in general, writing your feelings out on paper, writing poetry or songs, reading, watching TV or a movie of your choice, and even dancing among other things you can do inside.

2. Things you can do outside to refocus your anger on playing basketball, throwing around a football, running, skateboarding, anything that will get you active.

3. Talk to someone a friend or close family member in a soft calm manner

4.  Take a nap, let helps calm your mind and body and releases all that negative thoughts & feelings you have built up inside and you will wake up refreshed

5. Exercise doing push up's, jumping jacks, sit ups, jogging in place, these active movements can be done inside and or outside.

there are many ways one can release anger in a safe way just have to find what works for you. For me when I'm angry I listen to music, I draw, Write, Watch Netflix, play a game I enjoy, I take a nap, I play basketball, I walk, I read, I skateboard. Those are things I have found that work for me.

Now the Bible says about Anger-

A gift in secret pacifies and turns away anger, and a bribe in the lap, strong wrath.
Proverbs 21:14

These are the verses in the bible that talk about Anger, that's a lot of verses but there good verses to learn and memorize. Another thing I think about is WWJD "What Would Jesus Do" referring to what would he do or say in this situation your in? That's what you need to ask yourself, I do this myself as well at times, do I remember to do it no of course not but it is something that can also help.

I hope this can be helpful to you all

God Bless

Love, Relationship, Marriage & Adultery in the bible

I'm going to talk about what is says in the bible about love, dating and relationships. Today a lot of relationships end because no one is in the mind of it's worth fighting for anymore. Marriage is just something people do these days and then when something goes wrong they want to split and divorce and in the eyes of God that is wrong and I will so you all the verses that says so.

I have loved myself and have been in relationships and they ended, but the ones I was in weren't Christians, they were non-believers in Jesus Christ and so since I made the choice to not date another non-believer because they don't want the same things I want, they don't have those values and morals that I have. I did find this one guy and we dated a few times and one big event changed that all together and I really liked this guy but because of his differences and non- acceptance of my life and family it drove us apart, have we had tried harder and maybe had more patients then I think we could have worked things out.

No one ever said Love in general is easy, it's hard, it's something you have to want, and work for everyday of your life. When one loses love it hurts worse than anything and from that it's hard to learn to love again but it's not impossible because when you put your love and faith into God he shows and helps you to know love again by his love for you so that you can find love in another person again. When one man makes that choice to get down on his knee and ask the one he loves to marry him and she says yes they just vowed to be together until Death Do Them Apart, In Sickness & In Heath, For Better Or Worse they vowed forever to be their for one another but today many marriage fail, they aren't honored by those vows they said and made to one another. but in the eyes of God they will always be married. The flesh may have failed but the Soul lasts forever.

In the Bible it talks about cheating, and what we do that is considered adultery, even just lusting at and about someone is considered adultery which is a sin. All people do it but it's a matter of turning from that sin and not do it again. So when a married man or woman looks at another person in that way they just cheated on their partner, it's the same for those that are just now dating or that have been in a long term relationship.

People that walk from a marriage and marry another man with the same agenda referring to the man or woman having the same flaws, miss fortune is a case of repeating the same action the difference is it's just a different man just with the same bad habits. Woman have this habit of being with the naughty guys that do cheat, watch porn, and lust after other woman and even Men have this habit. When they keep repeating the same act of the men they look for they will always look for the bad ones instead of finding the right one, they feel that is all they are worth having. That there is no good guy out there that would want them or love them but truly there is they just haven't looked hard enough they just settle for who ever comes their way.

Dating, Relationships & Marriage there is values & morals that need to be held up but there not. So I want to share these verses with you all about love dating, marriage, and cheating.

Marriage biblical verses-
Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.  The man said, "This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called 'woman, ' for she was taken out of man."  For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.
May your fountain be blessed, and may you rejoice in the wife of your youth.  A loving doe, a graceful deer-- may her breasts satisfy you always, may you ever be captivated by her love.
A wife of noble character is her husband's crown, but a disgraceful wife is like decay in his bones.
He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the LORD.

Houses and wealth are inherited from parents, but a prudent wife is from the LORD.
Many a man claims to have unfailing love, but a faithful man who can find?  The righteous man leads a blameless life; blessed are his children after him.

"There are three things that are too amazing for me, four that I do not understand:  the way of an eagle in the sky, the way of a snake on a rock, the way of a ship on the high seas, and the way of a man with a maiden.
A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies.

If a man has recently married, he must not be sent to war or have any other duty laid on him. For one year he is to be free to stay at home and bring happiness to the wife he has married.
"Haven't you read," he replied, "that at the beginning the Creator 'made them male and female,'  and said, 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh' ?  So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate."
Now for the matters you wrote about: It is good for a man not to marry.  But since there is so much immorality, each man should have his own wife, and each woman her own husband.  The husband should fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband.  The wife's body does not belong to her alone but also to her husband. In the same way, the husband's body does not belong to him alone but also to his wife.  Do not deprive each other except by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.  I say this as a concession, not as a command.  I wish that all men were as I am. But each man has his own gift from God; one has this gift, another has that.  Now to the unmarried and the widows I say: It is good for them to stay unmarried, as I am.  But if they cannot control themselves, they should marry, for it is better to marry than to burn with passion.  To the married I give this command (not I, but the Lord): A wife must not separate from her husband.  But if she does, she must remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband. And a husband must not divorce his wife.  To the rest I say this (I, not the Lord): If any brother has a wife who is not a believer and she is willing to live with him, he must not divorce her.  And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is willing to live with her, she must not divorce him.  For the unbelieving husband has been sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife has been sanctified through her believing husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is, they are holy.  But if the unbeliever leaves, let him do so. A believing man or woman is not bound in such circumstances; God has called us to live in peace.  How do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband? Or, how do you know, husband, whether you will save your wife?
Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.  Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them.
Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.  Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."  So we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?"  Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith.
"But at the beginning of creation God 'made them male and female.'  'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife,  and the two will become one flesh.' So they are no longer two, but one.  Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate."
Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord.  For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior.  Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.  Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her  to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word,  and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.  In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.  After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church--  for we are members of his body.  "For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh."  This is a profound mystery--but I am talking about Christ and the church.  However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.

Love & Relationships in the Bible-

The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these."

Do to others as you would have them do to you.

But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.

The Pharisees challenged him, "Here you are, appearing as your own witness; your testimony is not valid."

Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.

Love does no harm to its neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.  Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.

Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.
Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.

There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.  We love because he first loved us.

Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her

However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.

And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.

Hatred stirs up dissension, but love covers over all wrongs.

A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.

This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.  If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him?  Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.

Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

I love you, O LORD, my strength.

Finally, the woman died.  Now then, at the resurrection, whose wife will she be of the seven, since all of them were married to her?"  Jesus replied, "You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God.

And now, O Israel, what does the LORD your God ask of you but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul,  and to observe the Lord's commands and decrees that I am giving you today for your own good?  To the LORD your God belong the heavens, even the highest heavens, the earth and everything in it.  Yet the LORD set his affection on your forefathers and loved them, and he chose you, their descendants, above all the nations, as it is today.  Circumcise your hearts, therefore, and do not be stiff-necked any longer.  For the LORD your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality and accepts no bribes.  He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow, and loves the alien, giving him food and clothing.  And you are to love those who are aliens, for you yourselves were aliens in Egypt.

So if you faithfully obey the commands I am giving you today--to love the LORD your God and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul--  then I will send rain on your land in its season, both autumn and spring rains, so that you may gather in your grain, new wine and oil.  I will provide grass in the fields for your cattle, and you will eat and be satisfied.  Be careful, or you will be enticed to turn away and worship other gods and bow down to them.  Then the Lord's anger will burn against you, and he will shut the heavens so that it will not rain and the ground will yield no produce, and you will soon perish from the good land the LORD is giving you.  Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.  Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.  Write them on the door frames of your houses and on your gates,  so that your days and the days of your children may be many in the land that the LORD swore to give your forefathers, as many as the days that the heavens are above the earth.  If you carefully observe all these commands I am giving you to follow--to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways and to hold fast to him

Daughters of Jerusalem, I charge you: Do not arouse or awaken love until it so desires.  Who is this coming up from the desert leaning on her lover? Under the apple tree I roused you; there your mother conceived you, there she who was in labor gave you birth.  Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. It burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame.  Many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot wash it away. If one were to give all the wealth of his house for love, it would be utterly scorned.  We have a young sister, and her breasts are not yet grown. What shall we do for our sister for the day she is spoken for?

"No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.

Bullying, Depressio & Suicide in the bible

This topic is a very important subject to me personally and it is a matter of which happens a lot in today's world. Kids world wide are bullied, depressed and committing suicide because they feel they have no help, no support, that they are not loved or wanted, cared about in any since. I want everyone to read what the bible says about these subjects. I will start with Bullying because it's the first step, then I'll lead in to depression which is the second base of this problem, and lastly I'll talk about Suicide because it is the end result of our world for these to take their own lives because they have no one and nothing to live for and what the bible says what will happen to these kids and people will give them no hope even in the after life. So please STAND UP FOR THOSE VICTIMS!

Bullying can take many forms and can be effective on different levels but that doesn't make it any better or worse for what the out come can lead to. Kids in schools, online, at the park, work, anywhere they go, you go they are being bullied for many reasons and some of those top reasons are as followed, Religion & Beliefs, Gay, Straight, Lesbian, Bi Sexual & Transgendered, Looks & Appearance, Cool or Not Cool, Nerd, Geeks, Just simply being Smart, Having a Disability, Disease, Medical Problems and Not Fitting In, Skin Color. These are the top reason kids are being bullied everyday and why it leads to depression.

Depression it lowers their confidence, self-esteem, courage, happiness, and self worth. It makes these kids feel all those things even unwanted, ugly or to pretty, to skinny or to fat, to tall or to short, sexuality of any kind, the color of their skin, beliefs & religion, who's better or who's less, smarter or not smarter, not loved, wanted, cared about. Those are the effect that leads these kids to depression to them cutting themselves, starting to starve their bodies or over eat and load their bodies because they have been told to many times they are to fat or to skinny, they wish they were taller or shorter, smarter or not so smart, they weren't that skin tone, they were never born, that they can change their beliefs & religion, looks & appearance etc. The list goes on and on never ending. Kids are afraid to talk to friends, family, teachers, any adult about the bullying, abuse they take on daily at school or anywhere because they are afraid no one will care, will help them, protect them so they keep it all inside and they do what they feel is the only Freedom.

Suicide is the end freedom for the kids that have been through bullying , depression, the whole thing with out any help, no one caring, hearing their cries for help. For those that feel like committing suicide they think in their mind it's the only way it will ever stop, it frees me from the pain, the hurting, the depression, and so these kids go unheard and unseen planning their suicide with out anyone knowing and some just come home one day and do it with out planning. There is many ways kids and people commit suicide which is as followed- Hanging themselves, Shooting themselves, Jumping of the roof of their homes or school buildings, walking in front of on coming traffic and many other ways.

back in 2010 I kept up with suicide stories and those that of which I knew of where any where between 15-18 that happened back to back in weeks, those kids made national news. There is one out of all those kids that I hold close and dear to my heart for many reasons. I didn't know this young boy or his family but his story is what touched me the most. He is always thought about and missed. I remember ever detail of why he was bullied in school and the way he killed himself. He was a local Cypress kid that attend Hamilton Middle School, he was 13 years old in the 8th grade was bullied for being Buddhist, small for his age, not being into all the high cool electronics, not wearing the latest fashion but most of all he was made fun of because he was thought to have been Gay which he never came out until the morning of his death. He came out to his Step-father that morning before leaving to go get on the bus and that day after school he went home grabbed his father's gun and went and hid in his closet and shot himself in the head. His parents came home to find his small body laying on the floor of his closet, now if that story doesn't touch you in anyway. That's just wrong. His school claimed not to have gotten any reports from his teachers or anyone not even his parents. His name was Asher Brown and to this day he is remembered and miss and loved by those that knew him and that didn't.

Now I will share bible verses about Bullying, Depression, & Suicide.

Bullying biblical verses-

Matthew 5:11
God will bless you when people insult you, mistreat you, and tell all kinds of evil lies about you because of me.

Deuteronomy 31:6
So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.

2 Timothy 2:22
Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

Psalm 121:2
It will come from the Lord, who created the heavens and the earth.

Psalm 27:1
You, Lord, are the light that keeps me safe. I am not afraid of anyone. You protect me, and I have no fears.

Love Your Neighbor

Bullying goes against everything in the Bible. We are called to kindness. We are asked to be hospitable and look out for one another, so turning on another person does little to demonstrate God's love to one another:

1 John 3:15
If you hate each other, you are murderers, and we know that murderers do not have eternal life.

1 John 2:9
If we claim to be in the light and hate someone, we are still in the dark.

Mark 12:31
And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.

Romans 12:18
Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone.

James 4:11-12
My friends, don’t say cruel things about others! If you do, or if you condemn others, you are condemning God’s Law. And if you condemn the Law, you put yourself above the Law and refuse to obey either it or God who gave it. God is our judge, and he can save or destroy us. What right do you have to condemn anyone?

Matthew 7:12
Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets.

Romans 15:7
Therefore, accept one another, just as Christ also accepted us to the glory of God.

Love Your Enemies

Some of the hardest people to love are those that hurt us. Yet God asks us to love our enemies. We may not like the behavior, but even that bully is still a bully. Does that mean we just let them continue to bully us? No. We still need to stand up against bullying and report the behavior, but it does mean learning to take the higher road:

Matthew 5:38-41
You have heard the law that says the punishment must match the injury: ‘An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.’ But I say, do not resist an evil person! If someone slaps you on the right cheek, offer the other cheek also. If you are sued in court and your shirt is taken from you, give your coat, too. If a soldier demands that you carry his gear for a mile, carry it two miles.

Matthew 5:43-48
You have heard the law that says, ‘Love your neighbor’ and hate your enemy. But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike. If you love only those who love you, what reward is there for that? Even corrupt tax collectors do that much.  If you are kind only to your friends, how are you different from anyone else? Even pagans do that. But you are to be perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect.

Matthew 10:28
Don’t be afraid of those who want to kill your body; they cannot touch your soul. Fear only God, who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

Leave the Vengeance to God

When someone bullies us, it can be tempting to retaliate in a similar manner. Yet God reminds us in His Word that we need to leave the vengeance to Him. We still need to report the bullying. We still need to stand up to those that bully others, but we should not retaliate in the same way. God brings us adults and authority figures to deal with the bully:

Leviticus 19:18
You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the sons of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself; I am the Lord.

2 Timothy 1:7
God’s Spirit doesn’t make cowards out of us. The Spirit gives us power, love, and self-control.

Romans 12:19-20
Dear friends, don’t try to get even. Let God take revenge. In the Scriptures the Lord says, “I am the one to take revenge and pay them back.” The Scriptures also say, “If your enemies are hungry, give them something to eat. And if they are thirsty, give them something to drink. This will be the same as piling burning coals on their heads.”

Proverbs 6:16-19
There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.

Matthew 7:2
For you will be treated as you treat others. The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged.

He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the LORD.

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

John 16:33
I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.

Romans 8:38-39
For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

2 Corinthians
1:3-4 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

1 Peter 4:12-13
Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice insofar as you share Christ’s sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed.
