Albuquerque, New Mexico

Albuquerque, New Mexico is a place of desert, dirt and rocks and Mountains surrounding you and the Volcano's. It was the place I grew up. Albuquerque was the place where people can go and chill out in the middle of no where. There were a lot of things you could do like go to the Mountains to go fishing, hiking, camping, and hunting or to ride the tram or what ever you wanted to do. When you were to visit a place like Albuquerque then you come to fall in love with the city and the surrounding of it because Albuquerque was a place to have seasons unlike any other state I've ever seen such like you'd have the snow in the Winter, Leafs changing colors in the Fall , Wild Plants and Flowers blooming in the Spring and The hot warm sunny days in the Summer. When you are living in such a small city like Albuquerque you can be on the other side of town in no time and that was one great thing about it. It's a small city but the biggest in the state of New Mexico but when a person goes there then they would see just how small it really was and how open and wide it was to where they can see miles and miles of open planes of dirt and volcano's and just to be able to get a true since of what Albuquerque really was like. Albuquerque, New Mexico was a place that had Rattle Snakes, Centipedes which had thousands of legs and The state bird "The Road Runner" which you were to see it running about every where. Albuquerque was a place for a lot of adventure, excitement ,and to get a thrill and just a place to hang out and have fun. Albuquerque was my home for 14 years and it was a place where a lot of good and yet bad Memories happened for me. Albuquerque, New Mexico was a place that didn't have good schools because when a student was being bullied the faculty didn't care and the kids were not getting the best education all students deserve. Albuquerque was a nice place to call home or just a good place to visit because in the Months of October & November you had the Balloon Fiesta which was where thousands of hot air balloons went up in to the sky at the crack of dawn just about and for miles out you can see them all, it truly was an amazing sight to see every year and I mean people from all over the country travel to check it out which was awesome, and then in the month of August you had the Wine Festival which is where people came from all over to try all different kinds of wine and there were a lot of different wine. I don't see how anyone would have been able to handle drinks and tasting all the wine that was offered. In Albuquerque you'd also were to see a river that was pretty much almost dry but it ran through the city and the name of that river is called "The Rio Grande" it was a place people were able to walk along, maybe fish  and hang out, but surely not a place to swim and a place to not eat the fish because the river was so contaminated with beer bottles, and among other things that just didn't make it healthy to eat. Most people were to drive down there take a case of beer and just enjoy the view with some friends and drink a little. The Mountains it's self surrounded the city on the East side you had the main Mountains plus the tram and on the West side you had the Volcano's and Volcanic rocks which were awesome to check out.  The tram was an awesome place to go check out because it is a box in type thing that can fit up to maybe 40 or less people and you can stand and walk about in it and it takes your from the bottom of the Mountains to the top. It glides on these two thick wires some thousand feet up in the air and it were to give you a beautiful view of the city for sure and there is a great restaurant up at the top of the tram, the chick burrito with beans and rice were to die for delicious. In Albuquerque you'd also come across seeing Buffalo's which was not running lose but in wired by wire like a fence. Albuquerque has rock clay, a lot of Indian Tribe History, great restaurants and Cliffs. Now Cliffs is pretty much a amusement park that is open during the Summer months, there you were to see lots and lots of rides like the roller coasts which the big one was called the Rattler and it went fast and went under a tunnel and just was not a very fun ride I would say, There were water slides which those where fun, you'd sit in rafts type boats and go down the slide and the best ride was the YoYo which was a ride with swings and you buckled in and it took you up kind of high and would spin you around and would be able to see a lot of cool things from up above like a bird flying. In Albuquerque, New Mexico there was a lot of cool activities, places people could check out. Albuquerque was a good place to call home for 14 years of my life and the side I mainly lived on was the West side because the East side was the bad area of town with all your gangsters and druggies and wild people and also I mainly grew up also in a town along the right side of Albuquerque and that small town is called Rio Rancho , it can be considered like a part of Albuquerque that is how close it they were located to one another. Albuquerque, New Mexico was home, was in my heart and was where I'm from. When people visit you will come to notice a lot of Mexicans living in New Mexico which in a lot of peoples minds they think it is part of Mexico which it can be confusing because of the name but New Mexico is a place that is apart of the United States Of America and it was a great place and I think all people that were to visit would come to really love the state and back ground of the city.
